FAQs

Who is Cedar for?

For anyone reviewing for a Philippine board exam: fresh grads, retakers, and people working while they review. Each course follows the PRC Table of Specifications for that exam, topic by topic.

Is it in English or Taglish?

The lessons are in English, like the board exam itself. Prof. Cedar explains the hard parts in Taglish: in the "Sa madaling salita" boxes, the calculator walkthroughs, the step-by-step solvers and the videos.

Can I do this while working?

Yes. Cedar is self-paced and works on your phone, so you can study at night, on the commute or on weekends. See the study plan for working reviewees.

Which board exams are available?

Right now, ECE (Electronics Engineers) and ECT (Electronics Technicians). Other PRC board exams are coming soon: we're building them one at a time. The course list shows which ones are available.

How do I pay?

On the payment page, choose your exam, scan the QR with GCash, Maya or any bank app, and pay ₱200. Then send the reference number, your mobile number or Messenger, and a screenshot of the receipt. No email or account needed.

How long does approval take?

We check every payment by hand. You'll see the status on the Account page, in the browser you paid from, and that's also where your access code appears.

How many devices can I use?

One per purchase. Once your code is logged in on one device, it won't work on another until you log out of the first. This keeps codes from being shared.

What if I want to switch devices?

Log out on the old device (on the Account page), then log in on the new one with your access code. If the old device was lost or broken, message us and we'll remove it.

What if I lose my access code?

We can't show the old one again, but we can give you a new one. Message us with your reference number and a screenshot of your payment. Once we've verified it, we'll replace the code, and the old one stops working.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every lesson, lab and video is made for phones and computers.

What happens after 3 months?

Your access closes until you renew. Your progress is saved in your browser, so you'll pick up where you left off.
